Colombian Medellin 100% Arabica Green Coffee Beans 500 grams

This Colombian export grade coffee is grown at high altitude on the slopes of the Andes in the Antioquia region of Medellin. The high altitude - from 1000 to 2000 meters above sea level - coupled with with fertile volcanic soil and a temperate, tropical climate.

Plantations are small family owned plots, 5 hectares or less, nestled on steeply sloped, rugged terrain grown under the canopy of native forests which supports biodiversity, provides shade to slow ripen berries, and prohibits machine harvesting. Coffee cherries are picked by hand to ensure only the ripest are selected.

Roast profiles delver aromas of chocolate, molasses and cookies with flavours of chocolate, roasted almonds and dried fruits. Medium acidity with a medium round body.
